Carla brings extensive experience scaling complex programs at the intersection of technology, public health, and government to her role as Aquia’s VP of Customer Success. As part of Aquia’s growth team, she supports customer relationships, strategy, and development across federal opportunities and specializes in aligning cross-functional teams, translating ambiguity into action, and delivering systems that create measurable value for Aquia’s customers.

She plays a key role on Aquia’s proposal team, supporting bids, shaping responses, and partnering with technical and delivery leaders across the company. Prior to Aquia, Carla worked across multiple federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She leads with clarity, empathy, and a bias toward impact, rallying teams around shared goals and driving progress in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

Born and raised in Texas, Carla now lives in Austin, where she enjoys live theatre, creative projects, and time with the people and communities that keep her grounded.
