Aquia Inc. Announces Support of Maryland Agile Digital Experience Product Transformation (ADEPT) Contract
The SDVOSB will partner with Nava Public Benefit Corporation to modernize digital services across Maryland state agencies using agile development methodologies
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., September 12, 2025 -- Aquia Inc., a cloud and cybersecurity digital services firm, today announced its support of the Maryland Agile Digital Experience Product Transformation (ADEPT) contract, an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle valued at $300 million over seven years.
As a subcontractor to Nava Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), Aquia will support Maryland state agencies in modernizing their digital experiences through agile development methodologies. The contract will provide web experience capabilities and digital service support to help streamline digital experiences for Maryland's residents.
This marks Aquia's continued partnership with Maryland, building on the company's current support of the $15.6 million Maryland Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) system contract, also in partnership with Nava. The ADEPT contract represents continued growth in Aquia's state, local, and education (SLED) portfolio, which includes partnerships across multiple states, including New Jersey and Maryland.
"Modern digital experiences are essential for making government services accessible and effective for the people of Maryland," said Kalid Tarapolsi, chief growth officer, Aquia. "We're proud to continue our partnership with Nava and Maryland to deliver digital solutions that are human-centered, secure, and future-ready."
Under the ADEPT contract, Aquia will leverage its expertise in agile software development, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity to help Maryland agencies transform their digital service delivery. The company will work alongside Nava and other Maryland-based subcontractors, Global Alliant and ArcheSys, to provide comprehensive digital transformation support.
The seven-year contract vehicle will enable Maryland state agencies to receive work orders for various digital service needs, supporting the state's mission to provide simple and effective government services to its residents.
